Dishwasher Dispenser Operating Guidelines for Staff

To ensure consistently clean tableware, reduce chemical waste, and extend the service life of both the dishwasher and its dispensing system, all staff must follow the correct operating procedures when using the dishwasher detergent dispenser. Improper practices such as incorrect chemical loading, unnecessary operation, or running the equipment without chemicals should be avoided at all times.

Before operating the dispenser, employees should understand its layout and identify the correct compartments for detergent and rinse aid. Never mix different chemicals or pour them into the wrong container. Before refilling, inspect the dispenser for hardened chemical residue, standing water, or dirt buildup. Clean the interior if necessary to prevent clogged lines, inconsistent chemical dosing, and poor washing performance.

During daily operation, always ensure the dispenser lid is securely closed before starting the dishwasher and that the unit is installed in its normal upright position. Do not open the dispenser or tamper with it while the machine is running, as this may cause chemical leaks or unstable dispensing. The dispenser is designed with an angled interior to help chemicals flow smoothly, so avoid practices that may interfere with proper chemical delivery or allow residue to accumulate inside the dispenser.

At the end of each shift, perform routine cleaning by wiping away any chemical residue, grease, or spills around the dispenser. Check that the tubing is clear and inspect for any signs of leakage. A more thorough cleaning should be carried out weekly, including rinsing the dispenser chamber to remove grease, mold, and other deposits that could affect long-term performance.

Finally, every employee is expected to use chemicals responsibly and safely. Avoid overfilling or excessive chemical use, which can lead to unnecessary waste and leave spotting or residue on cleaned items. Following these operating procedures and performing regular maintenance will help deliver consistent washing results, minimize equipment downtime, and maintain a safe, hygienic, and efficient dishwashing operation.
